Training and Seminars at
PBBS
Each
year PBBS holds several two (2) day seminars at various
locations
throughout Wisconsin and Minnesota. The seminars are geared
for our customers that maintain and operate commercial and
industrial
boilers,
and cover a wide variety of boiler related topics for both
steam and hot water systems.
Seminar topics include the fundamentals of thermodynamics,
boiler basics, combustion, efficiency, care, maintenance,
controls and wiring, steam and hot water systems, steam traps,
water chemistry, water treatment, and pretreatment equipment.
Seminars are intended to be informative and provide an overall
understanding of the boiler, boiler systems and related equipment
to broaden the participants knowledge in these areas. By understanding
the basics, one may better apply his or her knowledge to recognize
and possibly solve a problem rather than just provide a fix
for the problem.
Seminar fees are generally in the $200 to $250 range per
person. This includes seminar materials and sponsored meals/snacks
(continental breakfast, morning and afternoon breaks both
days, and lunch both days). Times are generally from 8:00AM
to 4:00PM.
If you are interested in obtaining more information on dates
and locations of these seminars, please call us, request
more information or email
us.
